1st-World Communion Sunday
- Sunday morning Worship at 9:00am (Sanctuary) + World Communion Sunday (lots of types of breads to remember God’s people around the globe)
- BFG (Bible Fellowship Groups) from 10:15-11:15 (See ushers/pastors to find out where your BFG is). Worship is the heart of church, and we spend time together learning/praying/singing/reading/praising God. Small groups are a way for us to grow friendships and our faith.
Wednesday the 4th-Faith and Fun Night
- 5:30-7:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall.
- Dinner and Activities around a theme–Unity: loving my neighbors as myself Free event for kids ages 5–18, 5:30–7:30pm. Bring a friend/neighbor!

- Super Fall fun with games, activities, food and play! All ages.
- Children’s Sabbath Rehearsal after Fall Fest!! (for the readers and leaders)
22nd-1st Annual Children’s Sabbath!
- Sunday morning Worship at 9:00am (Sanctuary) where KIDS LEAD
in Worship and adults respond to God’s Call to advocate for children around the world. Email Laurel . cluthe @ holmeswood.org if your child/youth would like aspeaking part! Mr. Allen will be teaching a song to the kids in BFG in October to sing in Worship this day! For more info on Children’s Sabbath (started by the Children’s Defense Fund), find infohere. This year’s theme is “Moving Forward With Hope: Love and Justice for Every Child.”
