- + Adult Connections meets Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30pm (Parlor) – Let’s talk about prayer and how to practically use it to grow closer to God and God’s Creation.
14–Sunday morning Worship at 9:00am (Sanctuary); BFG from 10:15-11:15
15–MLK, Jr. Day of Service: Just as Dr. King was our example of serving and sharing
all at home, let’s volunteer in God’s awesome city of Kansas City!
- volunteer at church from 9am-Noon (assorted awesome projects, all ages, no RSVP needed!)
- volunteer at Harvesters Food Bank from 1-3pm (ages 8+, email Pastor Anna)
19–Kids’ Night Out from 5:30-8:00 pm (Gym); Lion King
-themed dinner, activities, movie watching & fun! RSVP required by 1/16 to Laurel .cluthe @ holmeswood .org. Cost: $7/child with a max of $20/family. Ages 3-12.
