This Week: Family Ministry Team meets Thursday at 6pm (in person or on Zoom); in-person Kids and Youth BFGs begin this Sunday, Sept 5!! RSVP for Sept 18’s Sabbath in the Suburbs
Thank you, God…
…for allowing me to wake up this morning with purpose, with breath.
…for giving me an opportunity to live more closely aligned with your Son, Jesus’, message of deep faith, deep questions, deep justice.
…for providing me with a mind and heart to learn and experience life today. You also provided The Bible as a guide to swim through the murky waters of life.
…for surrounding me with other humans, whether my current friends and neighbors or those from my past or future. Their voices and experiences must be cherished, just like Jesus cherished all people, and it is my responsibility as a Jesus follower to listen more than I speak, love more than I judge, and learn more than I teach. Amen.
Today just seemed like a good day for a short prayer. You are the beloved. The End.
